FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long does it take to inflate or deflate?
Each model has slightly different inflation/deflation times as it mostly depends on the size of the unit. Smaller models take 10-15 minutes. Medium sized models take 15-20 minutes and the larger models take 20-40 minutes. Each model is provided with a electric pump designed for that model.
How long does it take to be delivered?
Each order is custom built according to the clients needs & specifications. Order processing first takes 1-2 business days and delivered from 2- 6 weeks depending on the size of the unit(s) and the amount of customization required.
What is your return policy?
Due to the fact that each island is custom made after each purchase, we do not have a return policy.
What do I do if I damage my Island?
Each island is extremely durable and does come with a repair kit in case a serious unfortunate event occurs. If the repair kit does not repair the damage, we can send out a technician to perform a damage assessment and let you know our best price we can offer to professionally repair the damage.
Do you setup my Island for me?
Instructions will be provided and we do have support available by phone/email/chat. The islands are not overly complicated and only require a proper location setup with electricity available in order to run the quick inflate air pumps.
If you it is essential and you do require initial setup from one of our trained professionals, then we will charge a fee for the time required to come to your location and do this for you. The total cost will be reasonable and would depend on the time / location / complexity of the island(s).
How do I properly secure my island?
Each island comes with safety anchors built in at strategic points structural stability points and ballastic stabilizing bags. They are quite solid feeling as if you were on land. For more extended stays, we do recommend strong ropes or ratchet straps secured to a permanent structure such as posts, trees or a existing dock. Other options would be to anchor your island using very heavy under water attachments such as cinder blocks / anchors.
What happens if severe weather is approaching my island?
It is not recommended to have your island up during extreme weather conditions which may lead to loss or damage of the island. Safety is paramount, make a proper safe judgement call depending on the weather condition approaching. Tent/ overhangs/ additional pieces can be disconnected and deflated to help assist in deciding which portion should stay inflated and which should be deflated.
What is the lifespan of a Luxsea Island?
Each island is extremely durable using only the best materials to ensure a long lifespan. Yet, the longevity of each island highly depends on how it is used, taken care of and stored much like anything else. With proper care, use of and storage, most islands should last many many years.
Will my dogs claws puncture the material?
Each dogs claws are different. Some are extremely sharp and if a large dog is extremely rough playing on one of our Islands than you may experience damage. The material used is extremely strong and of the highest grade quality. However, it is not bulletproof. It would be best to keep your dogs nails regularly trimmed as per normally expected and do not play rough with them on the island such as digging nails in/ tug of war etc
